Large Area Photography
By FAA regulations, drones are basically restricted to a maximum of 400’ Above Ground Level (AGL). This can make it difficult to take a photograph of a large area in a single image. Also, the higher you are from your subject the less pixels per square foot, meaning less resolution.
At Safe Vision we compensate for this by taking multiple over-lapping images and then “Stitching” them together to make a seamless single image. We can adjust the resolution to meet the customer’s needs. Greater resolution means flying at a lower elevation and taking more images to stitch together, larger file size and cost.
